How does visitor pre-registration work?

You copy your pre-registration link from the admin page and send it to visitors. They choose a date up to 30 days ahead, fill in their details and accept your rules, then get a 5-digit code. At the kiosk they tap Have a code?, type it and confirm their details.

    Share the link

    Copy it from the admin page and add it to invites or job bookings.

    Visitor registers

    On their phone: date, host, details, rules and privacy notice.

    Type the code

    At the kiosk they tap Have a code? and enter the five digits.

    Confirm and print

    They check their details, sign in and print their badge.

Reception knows who to expect.

Everyone who has registered for today shows in the admin page as expected, and hosts can be emailed as soon as someone registers to see them.

  • Rules and privacy notice accepted at registration, with the time recorded
  • Visitor email addresses are used to send the code and are not kept
  • Contractors register through their own option, with their own rules

Each 5-digit code works once, and only on the visit date the visitor chose.

Do visitors get their code by email?

Yes, where email is set up on the service. The code is also shown on screen when they register.

Can contractors pre-register?

Yes, when contractor sign-in is switched on. The registration page offers Visitor and Contractor, each with its own rules.
